Have you ever seen a place that looks like a hole was punched, and you are looking back at the past? Lets see what we can get posted here! Old cars in the pics are a plus!
you know, places that look like time just marched on around them, restaurants, garages, houses, E.T.C. lets see whats still out there.
Browning Missouri POP 650, the whole town looks pretty much like this although some of it is in different stages of disrepair.
This has the makings of a GREAT thread, the first photo of Pell City Drug Co. is classic, what year was that building erected? Bob
not sure, but the window says since '03, so we were told wrong. I'll try to get back up to it, its 3 hours from my house.
Mackinaw Island My daughters wedding and her (my) 68 stang. Cars exhibit at Disney with my grandkids. My house in the mid 20's Now..
I would have looked for the driver/owner of the car in question and given them some cock n bull story about freelancing for some magazine and would they mind moving their car so I could snag a photo.
Ok Pete I am going to have to contact the boss about people posting things that make me jealous now. That is the photo of the month right their, cool
Sadly, the buisness was closed and vacant. Still had the soda fountain inside! For Rent in the door. Im thinkin' "this would be a cool house!"
.......................Looks like there may have been some apartments upstairs. Potential income producing property.
This building was in Bay St. Louis Miss. The pic was taken in @ '76, the sedan was mine. This where they filmed "This property condemned". N ot there now I believe, after Katrina. tim
It would have been a double funeral. From what I have read if Edsel had his way that would have been a production line car. If I ever look around and find that my pockets are deep enough I would sure like to build a copy of that car.
No pictures handy but any small town in Central Texas Hill Country. Most still have angle parking at the curb and sidewalks are covered. If somebody has to double park behind you they leave the keys in it so you can move it to get out. Trusting souls.
