33coupepics 003 (Small).jpg 33coupepics 002 (Small).jpg 33coupepics 001 (Small).jpg Snow is thawing out here in the east and time to get more stuff done! I was going to drop an axle for this ol' heap and even began building a jig to perform the work but found an Okie Joe axle which will work out nicely.I'm just mocking this up and plan to drill it later.. I reversed the main spring and dearched the longer leafs to get a little more drop. Will have to wait until I get the motor/trans in it to see where the ride height will fall before I do anymore spring modification. I reamed the steering arms to move the tie rod on top for wishbone clearance.I love the look of the old Houdaille shocks so they're staying even though F1 mounts and tube shocks might be more correct. Buick brakes look racy!

I just dig the "mechanical" look of Houdailles with the swing arms attached to the perches, just plain cool!

    Thanks Pumpman!

Thanks koolkat! Papa is proud of the way she's looking so far.

Amen to that, brother! Until you roll it outside and stand back you really can't "see" it. It does get the juices flowing again to see her as a whole and realize how far its come.To be honest, I've surprised myself as I had some doubts whether or not I could get it this far!

Thanks 51hudson! I really havent thought about a color for it. However,If I get it to paint, its gonna be black. For now, because I have so much to do,it will probably be primered red oxide or black.
