I ran into a big problem today. I'm running out of parts to put on this thing. Today was a good day and got a lot of things done. Photos tomorrow when I can get it out in the sun.
At 2:20pm yesterday I turned the last bolt. Today it goes in the Boise Roadster Show and we will see how she does. As I had mentioned in the past, this build was done in my bothers memory. He was there the day I picked up the cab on a farm. RIP bro! It has been good therapy for me dealing with all the family issues I've had the last 6 years.
You are a winner before you even get to the event! Great truck and thanks for taking us along on the path to building it. Love it! Al
BEAUTIFUL Build Mel! THANKS for sharing this awesome build, best of luck with your PU. It time to have FUN.....
This is what happens when you put a dice in a glass fuel bowl with ethanol. Major part of my fuel issues after the water was removed. I found it just before the drive to the show set up Wednesday. Runs great now. Dice on left is a new one.
Hi Mel: Enjoying your 40 PU from afar. Great job. A labor of love no doubt. Have fun driving it and giving folks a reason to smile. TEB
Congrats on finishing the truck and a very nice job. I'm curious also; how did the dice get in the fuel bowl ?
Beautiful truck, Mel. Your license plate says NAILDIT, I realize that refers to the cool nailhead engine but in fact you really did "nail it" with this build. Hope to see this beauty soon!!
^^^^Priceless!! The wit and fun shared on this site is what keeps me coming back day after day... everyday!
Congratulations on a beautiful build,I'm sure your brother would have loved the way the truck turned out. BTW,goldfish wouldn't live long in the fuel bowl ether. HRP
