  6. Me three.

I'm up in the snowy rocky mountains 70 miles west of bandimere.
We only make the trek for the one nostalgia deal there in May.

We don't attract any af/x ers as yet but a few funnies and top fuel.
I don't think I've seen an altered yet either.

Enough to get some nitro in the nose though.

    No kidding ! Welcome back.

  9. I am right along with you guys! Nostalgia drag racing is great. We put on a show while racing! The computerized, high tec, corporate dragracing of today is mostly boring to me.

Mikey-- It's not boring, that's the best time to go take a whiz and get another beer.

    Pomona, probably mid-50s

    early twin, no other ID...anyone?

I posted this before, but without ID...It's Dick Belfatti, Willow Grove, PA. This TE-440 was also painted black at one time. Dick went on to run some really class fuelers, stopped driving after getting burned in one of those fuelers...Bobby Vodnik and others later drove for him.

No ID, taken at Indy Nationals, talk about a classic altered, steel Fiat body, Moons, etc

Not sure where this is, Salt Lake City? Arizona? Back when you could compete in the gasser classes with a street-driven car.

Santa Ana, a really long time ago

Waters & Murray...probably been posted before, but worth another look. Carbureted 55 Chev punched out to over 300" and a torsion bar-suspended championship rear end. These guys ran over 130 in '56. It later went to Texas where it got a blown motor, but kept the triple-nickel number

Mike Marinov from Wisconsin. He billed himself as "the Mad Russian," and this car ran like it. Held the 1320 record for class.
