Well I've decided its time for the tudor to receive some love and attention. I pulled her out of a shed a couple years ago so it's time for a build thread! So far I have taken the body and put it on another chassis I had. It was in better shape and the motor already ran so I figured why not. It will save me time and money. I did replace the rad though with the one that came with the tudor. The rad that came on the chassis had a big ugly patch in it haha. She also needed some new rad hoses so those got replaced as well. I really want to keep it looking as close as possible to how she looked when she was sitting in that shed. The body is very solid so it'll stay as is, with an exception of a new leather top! The four banger will be staying in the car and hopefully sometime time down the road will receive some speed parts! The tudor will be getting the 16" wires she came with also. Future plans are calling for a stock interior, dropped front axle, T spring in the rear, and keeping the mechanical brakes. Now for some pictures........

We looked at a tudor that had been pulled off Bois Blanc Island, MI- much the same condition as this one- wife couldn't see the beauty in it so I passed- everytime I see one now I kick myself- good luck on your build-
My first love affair with hotrods was and still is a '29 Tudor. Had mine for 15 years now. Can't wait to see what you do with it.
Alright so a little update. Not a big one but it does put me one step closer to getting the tudor on the road. I got a new light switch box mounted and hooked up the headlights! I also put a new horn/light switch rod in the steering column.
Got a few more stuff finished over the weekend. I added a temp. and oil guage just for piece of mind. Especially since I plan to drive the tires off this thing haha. Had a hell of a time trying to get the screw out of the block where the oil pressure fitting needs to go but after what seemed to take forever and a few choice words I finally got it out! I also had to fix the exhaust. It was rusted out behind the clamp and I just happened to find a piece of an old exhaust system that was laying around. The new piece has a smaller diameter but it just happened to be the right size to slip into the stock exhaust pipe. The flange on the end was the right size though! And the finished product. Not the prettiest welding job but it'll do. I definitely need to get some practice in haha! I was going to give it a shot of black paint however it seemed there wasn't any spray cans laying around the shop.
Be sure your rear tail pipe hanger is loose on the pipe. Stock systems "grow" when hot and will break the pipe at the flange or even the manifold. They are supposed to slide in that rear mount.
great pix, i brought a 28 A home today, must have been your's twin, going to swap body to another frame also.
Thanks for the tip! I appreciate any kind of help/advise. I'll be sure to check that I didn't tighten the rear hanger to much when I put it back on.

Sorry for the lack of updates to anybody who's been following the thread but I was having some problems with the parts supplier (still haven't got everything sorted out) and now I'm back in school. But I figured I would share this photo with you! Hopefully this weekend I'll have some time to get some work done and share some real updates for you guys!
