Event Coverage Run to the Sun : Myrtle Beach, SC March 21st Cookout

Saturday is looking really good

 

I'm doing my best, finishing up the new transmission install, need to bleed the brakes since I replaced the rear wheel cylinders..........and an OT subject, need to hook up power to the cigarette lighter for the OT GPS.....

 

People are in town and rainy weather is moving out. Come on out and have a good time. passed this guy today. Will load more as the weekend progresses.

Well it time to get this thing going got the cooker hooked to the truck and ready to go. It was a good day at the show lots of cool stuff here and tomorrow will be more to see. I got a sun burned head today and it will be nicer tomorrow. So lets all get over to Myrtle Beach state park and hang out with some nuts and have a good time. Looking forward to seeing every one. It.s time to get the party started.

 

I didnt go to the show today, been real busy thrashing on my car to get it ready for Steel in Motion! The weather is gonna be awesome tomorrow!!! Looking forward to hanging with everyone!

Had a great time. Met some new people and caught up with old friends. The event in my opinion was a success. Thanks to all that made it possible and all who attended.

 

Not to rub salt in the wound, but you missed a great time. Good food, great people and some awesome cars.

Great looking '54 Ford and it looks like the weather was perfect Saturday. HRP

 

Wife asked me if I couldn't have just driven down in the daily driver OT car, and I honestly said, without driving the 55, it's just not the same trip or experience.

 

You got that right,for someone who has had a running,driving hot rod or custom and go to shows & events and find themselves for some reason without a old car and attend a show there is defiantly something missing and you feel like you are not a part of the show or enjoy it as much..at least that's the way I feel. HRP

 

I wish I could have attended but maybe next year if I do not got to Daytona,we still had salt on the road up to a couple weeks ago so none of my old vehicles have been on the road until yesterday so none are road trip ready.

 

SORRY WE MISSED IT, NEXT YEAR IN THE HUDSON !...LORDS WILLING.

 

Had a great weekend!! The cookout was a great success. Glad to spend some more time with my old friends and make some new ones.

 

Well the 2nd annual Meet and Greet is in the books. Thanks to all that came and thanks to all that posted pictures. Not sure how you measure a good time, but I can tell you I hated for it to end and already look forward to the next one. Thanks to everyone's efforts and attendance. I was happy to hang out with old friends and make some new ones. Let's do it again next year!!!!!!!!!!

It's hard to believe that it has come and gone. Had a great time and enjoyed seeing every one that came out. I think that we doubled in sizes from last year and hope that we can grow next year to meet other new people and see some great rides. So lets start planning to be at the Run to the Sun in 2016 and hang out with some assortednuts. Now it's off to still in motion
