  2. The Body does have a model T look.
The front frame horns don't look model T.
Glad to try helping a fellow Basset Hound owner!

    That is not a Ford.

I could guess Chev, but could also be way wrong on that.

  4. Chevrolet had a lot of wood in the body, but I think X38 is right I may be some kind of G.M.

I was thinking Nash. I rebuilt a 27 Nash in high school. But it had 2 style lines. But this car has the one but it's in the same spot as the top style line on the 27 Nash. Going right where the hinges are

90 percent thinking it is Dodge from around late teens up to 1923. Part of that guess is that Dodge used all steel in a lot of the body , and..."all steel" doors like that one.

    looks like Dodge front fenders.

But I don't recall if Dodge had the cowl vent.

24 up Dodge had different body belt moulding detail below windows

Google pics to see if anything matches

The stamping on the cowl will help, I lose resolution when I blow up the picture on my phone...

Looking at Carnut.com, it looks a lot like the '25 Dodge pictures; firewall matches, you can see the cowl vent in several shots, the "sort of" '28-''29 Model A looking reveal on the cowl sides, plus the single body line under the windows on the sedan pictures. K6

And didn't Nash work for dodge and then made his own own car line?

I had a 1925 Dodge sedan and was pretty sure the lower part of my windshield was straight and not arched. Thought they started that in 1926? My 1925 did not have a cowl vent either.

Not a great pic, but here's the 25 I had...

    1925 DODGE 4-cyl., 116" wb
DODGE — SERIES 116 — FOUR: The 1925 Dodges looked nearly identical to the previous year's models. New features included automatic windshield wipers, lift-open rear windows, cowl vents and a one-piece windshield. All cars had 20 inch wheels and balloon type tires. Technical improvements included sil-chrome exhaust valves, rubber motor mountings and new oil-drain piston rings. Introduced at the New York Automobile Show, in Jan., 1925, was a coach (2-door sedan) with a Fisher body. A new “cadet” style sun visor was used on this model. All Dodge Bros, body styles were available with special equipment features at modestly higher prices. The Special equipment again included double bar bumpers and rear fender guards, nickel plated radiator shell, Budd-Michelin steel disc wheels, a motometer type radiator cap, runningboard step plates, rear taillamp, Goodyear balloon tires and cowl lamps on closed body cars

Based on the picture of the firewall I'd say it's a mid to late 20's Chevy

I'd go with Dodge as the ID of this, which seems to be the majority consensus anyhow.

  27. Dodge bros sedan. One thing to keep on mind is that Dodge bros and Ford looked a lot like cousins but Dodge used parallel leafs in the front and 3/4 elips in the rear. IE almost like a buggy seat.

I'm in the 1925 Dodge Brothers camp.

That is a NICE looking body. I see potential to go a bunch of different ways with it. You could keep it a sedan, those pillarless doors are COOL, or you could take a set of doors out and shorten the body up and it would probably fit on a Model A frame. I think Dodges tended to have longer wheelbases. My 17 touring is pretty long and a bit wider than my 27 T touring.
