  3. The Mustang was only referred to as a '64 1/2' model by Ford in the early pre-production promotions. Once it was out, it was referred to as a '65. The '1/2' business came into use to differentiate the production/mechanical differences between the ones built during the 'regular' '64 production year and the '65 year. All were serialed as '65 models.

    Read it again, genius. Seemed O.K. at first, then slid downward...
    You must see some of that in PA./ Rust, politicians, etc.
