  2. Here are the flames on my daily. They should be going away soon I hope but for now here they are.

This bitch had flamed everything when I got it, the tanks the fenders the seat, the speedo the hand levers. Bleeech.

Maybe this pic shows them a little better.

This was my first time trying to paint flames... did this in 2008 with spray cans.

  4. Those have a real '50s crab claw vibe to them. I don't think on that car that I would change them or be ashamed of the job at all.

Bill Roell did these several years ago - Jim Norris flamed the hood after I changed it from one with a blower hole. Now lives in Michigan. My daughter saying "Good bye!!" on the day it left.

Just got this roadster -- these were laid down by Rody Kuschnereit in 1974 -- still looking strong:

45.jpg 5.jpg 2.jpg 980482_558956370822664_1220060605_o.jpg Lots more of my cars n racers then these, but enough here to get the idea. I've painted my own flames on many of my race cars,a hold over from doing it to my hotrod in early 60s,I tryed a new twist on my flame job art; bottom photo also had a red n yellow Dragon draped over the right front fender with hid mouth blowing the flames over the left front fender. I though it was cool, tell my racing buddys kept trying to kill the Dragon,LOL
