Total Pontiac awesome car buddy, to rare and to big of a car for a straight axle, stay with the steel wheel, do the big and little tires, Pontiac dog dish hub caps, And the Primer Black needs to go, do the solid Red you have on the roof, headlite's and hood scoop are a very nice touch's, stance is just prefect and drive and enjoy, would give up my Willy's for one of those Pontiac's, Lots of drag race history was made with those cars. Also I didn't notice, is that a 4 speed car, if so totally way cool.
Thank You I have a m22 rock crusher waiting to go in the car is SEM hot rod black I'm about to take the body off and redo the whole thing
Haven't seen you in a while but you hit a home run with the stance. And that burnout pic a grand slam. Is the Silver Streak the basis for a straight axle gasser. Come out to the Melt Down drags this summer.
I have been gone awhile from here just so busy working and thanks it takes forever to get a good stance haha and the silver streak is going to be my cruiser
I agree on loosing the primer. That beautiful shape deserves a nice glossy color, some thin stripe wsw's and either poverty caps or even better, the 8 lugs treatment.
All this today for a leaking rear main seal maybe 50 hours on the engine. Will be all back together tomorrow...I think
I don't know how I missed this before, but nice '62! It looks like you've heard this before, but I might do some painting on it too. Subscribed now.
In 1962,I was a freshman in high school(College Station,Tx)and one of my close friends was 12 years old and rode a bicycle. One day he took me to a neighbor's house who had a 62 Super Duty 421 Pontiac, dual quads with complete aluminum front clip and aluminum bumper. He took us young kids for a "quick" ride; his name was Bill Newton and he special ordered it from Weaver Pontiac,Waco,Tx with a 3 spd manual transmission because a young Hayden Profit was turning some great times with his 3 speed.Bill also had an Anglia, but we would visit many times to watch him work on the Super Duty aluminum Pontiac.
Really like these '62 Pontiacs. Had a white '62 wagon I was building for N/SS. Ended up selling it to a guy in South Jersey. I think his name was Rusty. Don't know him by any chance, do you? Would like to know if he ever finished it. But lost his number.
