So Friday I went and helped put the stacks on-other than some pinstriping and minor details-this outrageous project is complete-check it out!

What drivetrain does it have?

 

C9 Caterpillar with a Fuller 10 speed overdrive- Dana 80 diffs on air ride - independent front suspension- disc brakes all around

 

Now that's what I call a truck! Love it!

 

That's cool ! What is the HD gas tank in front floor for ?

Johnny is one hell of a builder and the COE is a work of art.

 

Impressive. Do I see two exhaust pipes at the back so I guess the stacks are just for looks.

 

Ah-very observant - the motor is behind the cab- the exhaust runs out the back- the right side stack is actually the intake

 

Are the tires/wheels 19.5s?

 

Fronts are 19.5's the rears are lo- pro 22.5's

 

Very clever. Do you have or have you posted photos whilst it was being built ? I am sure I have seen something before. What about a trailer ? What will it tow ?

 

There are a couple build pics a couple pages back on this thread -the truck has a 5th wheel but for now no trailer- one step at a time - get the truck on the road- work out any bugs - then work on a trailer to go with it

 

With the detail in that rig I can not wait to see the trailer.
