Caution: this video is of a subject matter some may find offensive. If you don't like street racing, especially between 2 old school hot rods, DON'T LOOK. Simple. My blown Deuce vs. a pal's nitroused '51 Chevy. The Chevy runs mid 10's. Jury is still out on the Ford.
lol. Yeah. Used to run low 10's. I've got her ripping off mid to low 9's on the street now. Pretty sure I rotated the earth a little on the hook.
Yes. (And haters gonna hate) I'm actually a humble guy. I got asked to run a proven mid 10 second lsx '51 Chevy on the hose. So I said sure and posted results for guys like me who enjoy such goings on. I recognize its not for everyone. But for some it is. I got the car moving out now much better. Took a lot of hard work. That's what I enjoy about this hobby. Peace.
'Haters' is a word spewed out by 'fellows a little light in their loafers'. Same ones that shout "Racist". I had a custom Calif. license plate made for my '54 Ford Coupe. The meaning of the plate was akin to gunslinger John Wesley Hardin's occupational 'handle', he called himself a 'shootist'. I used to do anything to get a race. My custom plate said, "Raceist". So many ignorant/illiterate qualms about it made me trade it in...probably couldn't ever get it again, with the popular thinking today... I liked the heck out of that 'Paradise Rd.' race...
Lets see you got a 3- 4 second jump on the 51, it dont mean shit you got to have a redue, no light tree no fair, butttt shittttttttttttt you are fast
Thanks guys. I didn't jump the flashlight and the '51 honestly wasn't sleeping. I don't know it there's a way to slow it down on replay. But as the flashlight comes on you instantly see the starter disappear from view. I just hooked insanely hard. I tried some of that VHT on the slicks. That stuff WORKS. The camera man poured in on them right before my burnout. The '51 used his own mix. The Chevy guy just brought a knife to a gun fight. He's a good friend. Now I have to help him make that Chevy quicker.
Wow , that deuce is fast as hell !! Of course , I'd rock that 51 any day of the week too . Thanks for posting the shenanigans ... I needed that.
I love seeing those bbf's getting it done! My son's bbf powered 4100lb pick up, just put it on a built ls powered mustang monday night.
