Into the front of the heads, looks like the two hoses running across feed into a separate thermostat housing

no thermostat, Marine Water Pump from the 50's.There are two radiators on this car.One up front and one underneath the car horizontally that he fabbed two heater blower motors and vents up to it.Crazy stuff but it worked.Car is a true survivor with only 2500 miles total on the car.

  7. Did you restore it yourself Mr Edell,I was just wondering what the drive line is made up off.
Surprising to see 94 s rather than the usual 97s for its age. Those intake manifolds would be rare as rocking horse shit to wouldn't they?Does it still run the Turtle deck as the show pics show.

Very kool survivor Marcus. Hope it goes to somebody who doesn't fuck it up. That being said I can see a couple of little things I would change to improve it's look. But then every time I look at my roadster I see some things that should be changed.

  22. Anyone have a Caddy 6x2, 4x2, or 3x2 intake they are willing to part with? Looking to buy, but may be willing to trade a fully polished Edmunds 2x4 with fresh WCFB's. IMG_20140427_172331.jpg

I picked up a Cadillac intake yesterday at the Jalopyrama show. Seems to be a Marine intake as there are no heat risers. Not sure if its a Connell or a Detroit racing. I'll probably end up putting up for sale as it was a cool piece but I am looking fro something I can use on my 390.

A few years ago, there was an article in Hot Rod Deluxe? about a home built fiberglass sports car that was uncovered in storage, and built in early to mid 50's. The fella that built it was an aerospace engineer I believe. It used a Cadillac 331, but the amazing thing was that it used 8 dellorto cable actuated carbs. One for each intake port. I also believe it had a dry sump type oiling system, and a few other amazing upgrades that I can't recall. HP was estimated around 500! Anyone on here recall that article? The engineering was superb. I will try and dig the article up, but I bet there is someone on here with more info on this than I or the article.
