I love that dressed up flathead! Can't go wrong with gold! Will your wheels be gold too?

No. They will be Black. But I will hunt around for a set of Arty wheels and paint them up in a Tan, as an alternative look every now and again.

The final Primer has been laid before Paint.
It will now sit for 3-4 weeks to harden up, before she has her final wet sand and then painted.

Paint gets laid this coming Sat. I had the hurry up put on me by my Trimmer, so I'm running to a very strict schedule now.
I spent this weekend finishing off the little extra bits to get the Chassis ready to have the body placed on it.
Clearanced the Starter Motor & Fitted it
Remote Oil Filter fitted & Oil lines run
Battery Cable & Start Relay fitted.
    Polished a few Brass bits.

The Chassis is now ready to accept the Body. The last few small things finished off today.
    • Welt strip fitted (it will be cut back once the body is fitted)
    • Diff & Gearbox filled with oil
    • Bolts checked & tightened
The painted body should be fitted to the Chassis next week.

Man does some awesome paint work. Looks like you could get away without even buffing.

Hit the nail on the head. That is why I chose this painter. He gets it as flat as possible off the gun. I didn't want this car sanded and buffed, which it won't be. Just a Denib and hand wax.
Anyone wanting the details of a top notch painter in Melbourne, hit me up.

It's 2 Pack. Solid colour to get the flatness, then 2 coats of Glasurit clear.

Yeah. Chopped 2015 (Oct) is what I'm aiming for....
Today I sent the Chassis down to the Body Shop. Tomorrow I go down there to load the Body onto it and bring it home. IMG_5306.jpg IMG_5301.jpg
