Projects 1941 chevy ID

Does anyone know what the letters at the beginning of the 1941 Chevy ID tag mean I have seen AH and AA and others can any one brake it down for me

The two-letter code has to do with which 'series' the vehicle pertains to.

 

I have been to that web site it doesn't tell me what series AA is for so if any one knows please help

 

There is no AA. There's AG Master Deluxe & AH Special Deluxe. 4 light truck series begin w/ A, but no AA

 

Yeah, gh13, if you're trying to decode your '41 which is the same as mine, the code would be AH.
