Fire = first start up (Dive = typo for Drive)

Way to go! Looking forward to a video. Someday my '26 Chevy roadster will be fired and driven. I hope I'm still around.:D

  5. Looks like I'll have to rescind my earlier comment. My 53 block is a single bolt hold down for the distributor. My 52 block is the dual bolt distributor hold down. Here's what the stock piece looks like:

    Congrats from me too!

Fact is, you actually need very little to no padding for your back, which is a good thing in small cars, but no matter what, your **** needs it!

If anything a roll in the small of your back area helps, but for the top half of your back you can get away with virtually nil.

Have a great weekend, you've earned it.

way late responding on the two bolt distributor hold down for the early distributors,
I have a couple of these,
seems the early version, '49-'50 ? was a two piece affair like the picture below
I don't have any hold downs like Speedy's but I do have early distributors without the screw holes in the body to take the second piece
only way they could have worked would have been like Speedy's example above

Great to meet you Friday night Eric. Fantastic workmanship on your T!!! Here's a shot I snagged with some sinister lighting. -Dave

How come you don't have the roll pan under the turtle deck? Was hoping to see a picture of it fitted.
    Cheers,

Your car is just so right in so many ways! 50 years from now guys will still be using "The Anderson T" as a reference for how to build a T. Well done!

It's hard to add anything more to what has already been said, but your T is so simple yet loaded with details from tip to tail. This is one well thought out and executed ride, VERY nicely done, thanks for letting us follow along :)
