Yea it occurred to me to leave the fenders. The drivers side is pretty crunched. It's been straightend a little looks like. I'll put up better pics tomorrow. I've been dreaming about a fenderless coupe for years. They can always go back on.
And yea I'm leaving the visor. It's way cool.

Be careful taking those cowel lights off- and put them right on " Fordbarn" - originals in good shape are worth all the money to those "restorer" types ( just DON'T mention the 5" chop if you talk to any of them- they might send vigilantes to burn you out!)

Ha ha. Yea I'm not gonna post on the barn about it. Only about the motor a little. I may do it. I hate for them to sit unused.

  4. Wait a minute...... I'm a Ford Barn guy as well as a HAMBER.
Don't you think the Barn guys are happy to get the parts Hot Rodders take off??
I sell on both, I'm an equal opportunity seller!
And in the case of Model A's, supply will always excede demand!
I've got a '30 coupe right now with 2 holes in the cowl
    where those lights could go!
    We can all get along!!
There are really great people on both boards!
    Do what makes you happy!!!

Hey Tony. Yea the barn is awesome. They like their stockers! Great info there too. I'll send you a message first should I decide to sell em. They're in fair shape. Here pretty quick I'll have spare tire mount, front and rear bumpers and fenders for sale possibly. Along with the stock 19" wheels.

  6. All those parts are sellable on the barn.
I may be interested in the lights if I don't sell the car first!
Regards and congrats on your A,
    Tony

Whoa there , Big Guy! Read the WHOLE post, Tony- I was only warning him about being "too honest"regarding the master plan ( 5" haircut), not dissing the "Barn". I'm on the Fordbarn too; those old Bucks have lots of cool info tucked under their beanies. I just ID'd a 2 spd rearend I picked up thanks to the "Barn Boys" ( a "Twin X"- very rare, only made for 8 years).Funny story though, I was on the Barn before I found out about the HAMB, and my first post was looking for info. on how to channel a Model A coupe! They straightened my ass right out toot sweet! I used to waste all my time and money on women and booze, now I buy Model A's!------ GO FOR IT, HOT ROD 50!

Thread resurrection time. I am LOVING the look in your avatar. Keeping the A frame and leaving the body right up there suits me nicely. Assuming of course you haven't swapped the frame and channellled it by now...
    It just looks so sweet!

Yes it's gonna sit high on the A frame. Go check out my build thread on it. Search, the all business coop 1930 model A and you'll see where I'm going with it.
