Event Coverage Mothers Day Hot Rod Rides

Just getting my 5-W all ready to pick up my 92 year old mother-in-law for her annual mothers day hot rod tour. She just loves it and so do the residents of her retirement, ( she actually thinks they are jealous of her). Here are a couple of photos of her from past Mothers Day Rides.

Good job!!!---------My Mom always enjoyed a roadster ride too.---Even at 95--- 9 years ago.

 

I see the pics on this thread and think of my best friend ****, who built a nailhead powered Deuce pickup, chopped and channeled, when he was in high school. That was the 50s. His mom was one of the lunch ladies at school and she loved that truck, used to drive it to work, making her the coolest lunch lady in NH! So lots of moms, grandmoms and mom-in-laws love their boys and their toys. My wife of 49 years got her mother's day ride today in the avatar, over to our daughter's for a cookout. She loves to cruise with me, God bless her, and that makes our advancing years and issues fade away. Probably go out for ice cream after supper too. So Happy Mother's Day to all the ladies that indulge us in our hobby and participate with us.
