here is some dealer advertising stuff. I posted the black and white one before, but must have deleted it in photobucket. the truck poster is about 4 feet tall. I also have a newspaper ad with the same artwork on it.

the one on the left is for 1949 passenger cars, "The Most Beautiful Buy of All".



I also have this 1954/55 poster. the junk collector gods were smiling on me when I found a 4 foot tall green picture frame at the thrift store for cheap.

This 51 came to me a month ago for a semi full restoration. Came to me from N.H. sat under a walnut tree for 18 or so years so it has sheet metal that looks like it spent its life in a Texas hail storm. It is very rough but I will get through it and we have a plan. ATTACH=full]2783468[/ATTACH]

 

Brought mine home a few weeks ago.

 

Does anyone know how I can find the thread that talks about putting a s10 frame under a 48-54 chevy Pickup that was on the hamb a few years ago? Thanks. Exterminator

Take it apart and save the whole thing! There are plenty of parts out there to rebuild that beauty to her former glory! save it!

 

This is the 49 panel I drove home a couple weeks ago. It was put back into service as a work truck 20 years ago and used daily for 16 - 17 years. Still in great shape with the exception of the clear coat peeling and in need of an interior makeover.
