Cool car Larry, guys are starting to jump on the 4-doors, never thought they would, glad they are.

 

I'm with you on this one. My uncle just bought a really straight '56 210 4-door wagon. Had some ugly '80s directional billet wheels on it when he bought it. It now has American Racing 5 spokes and raised white letter tires. Next up is some exhaust work, including header dumps begind the front tires.

 

I'm still trying to get him on board with the 2 inch dropped spindles up front when he does the disc brake conversion.

 

You simply cannot go wrong with the I screwed with my mom's car look when you get a grocery getter. It is reminiscent of high school and who doesn't want to remember high school.

 

I just don't understand it Larry, did you run out of black paint?

Back to regular scheduled programing I guess, I thought 4 doors were going to be cool to everyone there for a bit, guess the pressure was just too much

i had this whole scenario, where you found a barn fresh 3w [chevy?] and stripped out the '55 to hop it up. it would of made an epic build thread!......bummer.

Just curious, anyone have a link to a good thread on converting a four door into a two door?

 

I can just see it now:
A Kaiser four door, black with scallops, lake pipes, drawer pull knob grille and fuzzy dice, and, wait for it----- angel hair.
All fun'n aside Larry, that five five is a peach.

 

I like it. I bought a 4dr once and really enjoyed it. just have to get it for the right price.

yep...the money was wired yesterday...a shipper will pick it up in about 2 weeks or so. Hate to see it leave, but the profit will buy more deuce parts!
