I have put it off long enough and the seat in my sedan needs padding so I guess it's time to install a real interior, the Tijuana blankets have severed me well but I have decided the time is nigh. Show me some designs/styles on the seats and doors of your 1932 Ford coupes, sedans or roadsters. HRP
Roger would leave it the way it was when he bought it from me,I miss that rascal but time waits for no man. HRP
I would use a stock kit from some place like LeBaron Bonney, lebaronbonney.com, 800 221-5408. What you put under the hood is a different question. Charlie Stephens
Wow some very tasteful interiors. After my car gets some color sprayed I will be putting an interior in that resembles stock but with leather and naugahyde. I've picked a color about the shade of a new baseball glove, I think some folks call it saddle.
Another great thread in the making here HRP. If only you could find some more of the Fruit Salad material !! I've designed my interior for my Deuce sedan in my head many times...I will be closely copying Cory Taulbert's roadster, It's just beautiful. Also like Rusty Rocket said a stock look, but in leather would tick many boxes.
How bout some hillbilly seat covers? Have since been replaced with some cut down JC Whitney vinyl seatcovers originally made for a '59 Chevy.
I had a small amount left but Brenda made a couple of throw pillows. As far as material for the sedan,I'm leaning toward vinyl or leather. HRP
Done in 1958 or so....... I found newspaper from '58 behind the door panels when I did the car YEARS ago ..... so I date it about then ... ( ??) .
I see where you said you used up all the curtain material. Too bad. I always liked that story. I like the light brown leather one shown here, but not sure that would look the best with the black car. Like the black/white one too. You and your buddy that did the Ranch Wagon going to do it? Good Luck trying to make a decision, its a tough one.
Your right,it is a tough decision,I like the darker tans/tobacco colors. Brenda's cousin has a boyfriend that does upholstery work and I have a Ford truck he want's so I'm leaning toward letting him do the work,,I love Dave's work but he is covered up. HRP
These are the samples that I have for my sedan. The brown square weave carpet I'm on the fence about, It looks grey in the photo but it is a nice shade of brown. The dark brown on the end is suede and it will be used for the headliner.
I bought Monogram's "Big Deuce" when I was a kid and always liked the interior, so when the time came.. Dave
