Hey Guys, you will probably recognize this ol tub. This ol girl has been passed around the country just waiting to be put together. I unexpectedly sold my old fordor last fall due to some medical expenses for my daughter... I wasn't really ready to get rid of the 32 as I had big plans to put alot of miles on it, so I have been missing it alot this summer. I have to say I love my wife. This tub became available and my wife was on board with the idea of having a phaeton for a new family cruiser... so we worked out a deal with Mel and a few weeks ago I made a bonzi trip to New Jersey and back from Montana. 4500 miles in 4 1/2 days rolling solo. It was worth it though. Can't wait to cruise the tub around. This will be a slow project. I have been going through my 32 stuff I've been saving for this someday project so I'm stoked I can finally put some of these parts to use. The plan is for a late forties style roadster that has been updated with an overhead in 53 to go racing. The plan is to stay fairly traditional. This will be a slow build/ rebuild.
    Hope you enjoy the pics.

I watched it in the classifieds. Love to have been ready to pull the trigger but I'm a ways off.

I love the Deuce tubs and I like your taste for this one. There was one in Pomona for sale this year at the LARS but I have a 34 in progress that I purchased a hood from you for.

My all time favorite is Paul Gommi's beautiful phaeton.

Congratulations on the pheaton and great project . I was eyeballing the tub and wish I was a bit shorter at times, can't wait to see what you do with her.

I'm glad to see someone is going to build it, I helped move it around a few times when it was down here in the south.

  24. I'll bet that dash would keep a one eyed man busy. LOL

Looks like fun, a hemi tub. Guess that makes it a hot tub. ;)

Well I'm subscribed! Another phaeton build, and this one with Wide 5's. I dig it.

I like the Dash too! I've got one that has 10 holes in it too. After the usual gauges and an oil temp, clock and a vacuum, then what? Do you really need trans & rear temp? Any interesting suggestions.

Moving the seat back 3" in the Deuce Tub solves all tall guys problems. Plenty of room to stretch out. John, a 34 requires the same treatment if you are over 6' tall.
