  3. I found these over on the Just Old Trucks forum. http://forums.justoldtrucks.com/20022/Just-Old-Buses
I don't know if these are front or rear engined, but thought they are interesting. Evidently Spanish built.
They look very much GM styled, wonder if there was a relationship between Hispano-Suiza and GM back then?

Not 100% sure but This is the same truck. The top is the before and the bottom is after. I truely hope i am wrong.

  7. The differences on the nice one 1)no Visor, Hinge Mirrors, No side Window divider, No Front Vent Window, you can't see the hood pulls on the ugly one, just little things that could have been changed but like you I hope not.

I had seen pics of the nice one with a fake brown paint rust effect recently and had heard word that it was for sale . So lets all hope that is a different one. I think if i built one of those id run a full size coe front fender and the complete grill.

  9. If it is the same one there are a lot of differences that took work to change, adding vent windows, changing wheels, adding bumpers, the visor and tail lights and even a different fuel door. Doesn't make sense, I think it is an abortion! (I mean different truck)

Thanks guys. I think I can sleep a little better now. But to know that the nightmare is out there (the 2nd one) does still make the car Gods weep.

It's ugly, but I'll just be happy knowing it still exists, and hasn't gone to the big junkyard in the sky. (it hasn't been crushed)

I don't know where it was from, saw it at Graffiti Weekend in Roseburg last weekend.

  16. Of topic, but I live over here in central Wisconsin and Saturday I was at our largest local show. Noticed a Desoto Airflow, walked over to get a closer look and the guy is from Bend, Oregon. I asked him how he got over to this part of the country and he proudly stated that he drove it. That's 2000 miles in a magazine quality car!

I am using a Painless unit, I wanted a 12 circuit but my supplier only had an 18 in stock. They gave it to me for the same price, needless to say I will be cutting wires and isolating the extra circuits.
