Projects Need some aluminum glue

    The car wont be ready for quite a while, so there will be plenty of time for the glue to dry..

    just use some of the drag racing blower safety straps to hold it down with

    super glue for super chargers, so it won't blow off. although do to the amount of horses, Frau Blucher might suggest a protein colloid glue.:D

    Use silver duct tape. That's what Red Green would do. A manifold is a duct, isn't it?

    Just cover it in bondo and paint it. Just make sure it's not more than a dime thick. Wait, I think that was a different thread.

    Years ago, went to a car show and one guy had this method of welding aluminum with a propane torch and this special welding rod. He welded some aluminum tubing and man the weld was strong. He could tear the aluminum, but not the weld. I believe the rod had some nickle in it. I ended up buying some, but never used it.

    It's good you didn't use them because they don't work at home only at the carshow.

    I have used Aladdin 3 in 1 but you have to watch the temp as it goes from ready to ruined in a matter if seconds . once you get the heat control down it works great , not as good as a tig weld though .
