    Ben,

I'm reinstalling a new header and braces over the doors. I'll make some steel structure as well.

Poor coupe my ass ... ya' just gave that old codger some Clint Eastwood squint. Now let it go kill somebody, before it explodes.

That looks pretty hot there, Mr. Pete , and I bet it will fit into your new addition perfectly.( new display at the "Lars Flaven Auto Museum"). Nice job . I see Dr. Prue assisting with surgery ; the "Trapper and Hawkeye" of Hot Rodding!

I've been sporadically working on the car here and there due to work, yesterday worked out perfect.

Once the chop is finished the motor gets attention.

Hell yes!!!!! That looks perfect, Bro!! I say keep the aprons too!! If you took that baby through the drive-thru, they'd just have to keep the change because it might not fit back in!!

Sweet! What was the trick on the hood?
That car is the same thing I am going for except chop and a little channel.
Definitely going to get a lot of helpful info from this thread.

    Ben,
I didn't really get to fussy with the hood, got it in the general location.... With lots of swearing and cuss words. It's ok for now tho

I just went into rafters of garage, very hot up there. Anyway, it turns out most of my pieces are roached. Sent you a pic of pass side piece- lemme know if you want- I will put with your gas tank at the roll-a-bones garage

Seeing it from the different angles now and from more of a distance than in the shop, I LOVE IT even more!!!! Perfect stance and amount taken off the top. She looks mean as hell! Still digging the aprons too! I liked just the hood sides on but the hood top looks killer and kind of completes it. Keep at it and keep the shots coming!

Looking really good. Nice how you pulled off that large of a chop. Looks good. Did you get it accepted into TROG?

The green wheels do it for me.

The wheels do work. I just always went to black; when I painted mine I didn't think of any other color to use. Just cool to see a non-ordinary color; or one that really doesn't match a particular accent on the car work well.

Started knocking small things of the list today. Installed new king pins and bushings, blasted and painted the front backing plates, did some more welding....

Bought this NOS. Ford reamer right here on the HAMB Years ago.... Great tool to have.
