Message_1439295374238.jpg Any of you guys recognize this water pump casting? Looks to be Miller/Cragar pattern on the head side, and has the same type water neck mount. Brass, unmachined, shorter than any Miller/Cragar pump I've seen.
    Thanks.

Like the way the head wakes the engine up.
In route to Jamestown but had banger problems in Santa Few so I'm in a car that has 4 too many cylinders
Red looks like a Fire Engine. Does it run like a house of fire?

Hey guys. Thought I might add some photos of the banger powered project I'm working on. I will be running a healthy B motor with a Chevy ohv conversion. Thanks for all the good info everyone.

I have a lead on one but if that doesn't work out I have a great friend and amazing engine builder from outside Denver who is building the motor and will fabricate the adapter.

  17. I was just wondering cause a friend of mine has bought all of Neil's inventory and is running the business! He's in Anderson ca.

  18. Bill stipe modified a SBC head to fit on his engine

That's wild. I read that a few years ago, he really wanted to run that set up bad to through all the work.

Does anyone know of a comparison between a lion speed head 3 and a crows-foot Winfield?? Or has anyone on here run both heads??

yes , "B" type cam , aluminum rods & pistons , counter weighted crank balanced + a lil more ....

  27. I haven't run a Lion head but I have run a repop al Winfield "Crowsfoot". Here is a photo of the results in 2010. I know most have seen this before but as some one recently said that we like photo's so here it is again. The car weighs 1500 Lb. and was running just under 3800 RPM's. All I have seen regarding the Lion head are Dyno reports.

  28. Does anybody in the group have any experience running Weber 40mm or 45mm DCOE side draft carbs on a street driven Cragar B motor? This is a very mild motor with .080 over pistons, stock oil system and a Brierley 270v cam. Will be installed in a 26 T roadster with a T-5 and a QC rearend. With the Cragar being a 2 port, two carbs might be over kill but would look nice although not quite period correct.
