It's still on! This will be year number seven that we're offering up The Yay-Hoo Cup™ at the HAMB Drag Nationals. For those that don't know, the The Yay-Hoo Cup™ is awarded to the quickest car driven to the HAMB Drags. All you gotta do is: - Drive your car to the event (at least 150 miles) - Find Blake and register for The Cup... I'm setting up camp back behind Ryan's Jalopy Journal tent this year. - Haul ass - Show Blake your quickest slip The Cup Contender™ with the quickest pass will win The Cup™ for 2015. This means their name will be affixed to The Cup™ forever, AND they get a cool hand-crafted, personalized dash plaque to back up the bragging rights. They are also handed one ice-cold Shiner Bock beer... because they earned it. NOTE to a few recent winners of The Cup™: We're behind on the dash plaques... we apologize... we have not forgotten our obligation to you guys! That's basically it - sign up and give it a shot! We do this for funsies, so there's no lengthy list of rules and restrictions to determine who wins if things get complicated. As such, I reserve some rights to clarify the rules if needed, and I own the final decision on who won or not. Our goal is to keep this simple and fun… like it should be. Last minute Chicken Coupe thrashing in-process!!!!!! This years drive will be from Knoxville Tn to Hot Springs AR then meet up with Reggie to tackle our infamous side by side adventure from hot springs to Joplin.... Should be a very long rainy trip estimating 800-900 miles Of course I plan on going faster,,,, and blowing up again,,,, Cause "if don't break somethin,,,, you ain't trying hard enough
