I like the beveled look he added to the "Hemi Hunter" logo.
His lines are fine and crisp and he is a Master-craftsman for sure.
His use of a grease pencil for layout is another sign of a true master at what he does.

Was it worth the trip to get this type of professional work? HELL YES

    Just my opinion. Jimbo

It's midnight, finally rolled into Jackson Miss. (almost home, one more long days drive to go) Sitting here in bed, finally get to load some of the pics. I can't stop looking at it, it really turned out well. Ed really outdid himself. This trip was definitely worth the trouble. After seeing what Ed can do, I don't care how far it's gotta go, I would haul it to him in a heartbeat. Ed, words can't describe how happy I am with the outcome. IMG_20150815_123545199_HDR.jpg IMG_20150815_123151564.jpg

Your black Stude turned out very nice, nothing like some pro lettering on a clean racer

Kinda like the icing on a cake, just completes the package

I guess I did not see your notes as I thought it was a g***er the whole time, then the light came on when seeing the c/alt letters dah i'am just old so that's ok since it was a senior moment

Have fun racing it and maybe a show or two too ?

    Don

Superb! A look and a feel that you'll never get with vinyl. ;)

I've hacked around with a brush and paint a bit over the years and this is the kind of result I strive for. But I've got a long way to go to get near this level of work. I wonder if Ed gives lessons on doing that beautiful brush script?

As a old sign painter friend of mine used to say of his own work, "Looks pretty good for pushing paint around with dead squirrel parts tied to the end of a stick!" :D

Another shot from the road yesterday evening, I can't stop looking at this thing! It's been 18 yrs. getting this car to this point, built it, totaled it, sat buried in the garage for 10 yrs., rebuilt, and finally this. Now to get the new motor finished and see if the old dog will click off some 10's and still cruise to the burger stand. IMG_20150815_192033544.jpg

Glad to call Ed a friend. True talent for sure. Came out great but then again how could it not with Ed at the helm.

"C/Altered"? "Buick Powered Stude"? Travel hundreds of miles to Edwierd?
The answer is YES. You are the only one crazy enough. That makes you THE MAN!
All the key points are beautifully covered and executed. Bravo to you (and Ed)!

Ed's work was the finishing touch, don't know about the being "the man" part, but have been told I was crazy a few times.
