Yep, the 503C is the carpet.
Headlining is the missing piece at the moment,

Parcel shelf done, with an incorporated Glove Box. Also a sneaky 12v outlet in the glovebox, for my 1957 Period Correct IPhone charger.

Headlining goes in today, then the parcel shelf and sides get trimmed. Then comes the carpet.
I've been told only 8-10 days left from here.

Headlining, done properly, one continuous piece from Windshield to Parcel Shelf..... Perforated Off White.... From the Porsche catalogue, as it was the one that had most perforations.... Looks damn good to me.
The Deco light fitting completes it I think. Found it at a Swap meet, circa 1940's.

    For the record.....

Those Heater hoses will be changed and made to look better and to blend in with the carpet.

The Heater Shell will be painted in a contrasting colour. I'm thinking a hammertone finish.

The chrome shifter handle will be changed to a nicer looking unit, but I need the seat in first so I can ensure of the angles it needs to clear.

I'm undecided on the steering column. It may remain in its raw stainless form, but I may give it a light sand, for that Brushed stainless look. To be decided.

  28. Love the S/Wheel, and seat, if the markings are an indication of where that trim is headed, keeping in mind the material selected, then super excited for you as that's got class written all over it. My only real question is based around how the seat is like to sit in, for you, as a driver, is it comfortable, and can you see yourself travelling any real distance in it? is it like your 'favourite lounge', or do you feel like you're sitting on cushions? Not intended as a negative, just inquisitive, as I'm thinking on replacing my narrowed bench seat in my coupe and am inspired by where yours is headed.
    Cheers,
