  1. Was that a windshield slide that broke? I see someone mentioned it but didn't see a response. I have a couple of odd ones. may be a straight one. Tim

Yes, it was a windshield slide. Luckily, another member had a spare and was willing to trade it for some pics of a very specific area in the cab that was rotted out on his...

THAT !!!!! looks absolutely fabulous, I wouldn't even wash it, like a lot of blokes here have said, put 16/17 wire wheeels on it and just watch the rest of the world admire it, It looks fantastic just the way it is and remember anything you do to it may turn into just another 34 pickup, not that there's anything wrong with that as i have one myself, but you've got something really unique there, FANTASTIC,

7.00X16 in the rear, 6.00X16 in the front. Glad I didn't go 7.50 in the rear...I think it would have been too much rake. Now that I see the stance, I'm thinking I want to do reverse spring eyes on both front and rear leaf springs to drop it just a tad.

Also picked up the seat for a test fit. Seems pretty good. Nice snug fit. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1440804892.131314.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1440804924.247184.jpg

I ordered 5.00-16 for the front and am thinking 7.00-16 for the rear. I reverse arched my spring, it is easy. That or a small amount of drop on the front axle should have it perfect.

DP you do know that Larry is the resident tire size Marshall, paint color Judge, fender referee, and stance sensei. With out him my cars would end up with teal paint and pink double wiper blades. But I'll never run a Heartbeat of America sticker anymore than ill high jack a thread with my big mouth[emoji3]

I'm not going to make any comments on the socially poor chosen slogans from the eighties and nineties leading mega-poorly-made-automobile manufacturer that takes a cheating way to tugging at heartstrings of the soulless drones that lived in my trailer park growing up. I think it's a straight piped Harley engine actually though. Now back to that awesome 34 truck![emoji41]

  24. That is a VERY nice old original pickup. Here is mine when I bought it, and how it looks now.

And my Dad's, which is closer to yours. He reversed the eyes on the springs and put big-n-littles on the stock 17's. This truck was also parked since 69 when I found it a couple years ago

Y'ur making me break the 10th commandment.

With a name like Galli, I'm the one that should have ended up in Healdsburg with a barn and orchards and grapes, but NOOoooooooooooooo, my dad had to wander off to So. Cal. and be the black sheep of the family. That thing is gorgeous. You've got the tires just right. Get the radiator taken care of so you can drive her.

Why would my carburetor leak from the top hole? ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1441237452.437958.jpg

Float level is to high or the needle is not seating. Also the float could have a hole in it.....
