    I will, he's coming Tuesday.
    Here's a video of the Master himself lettering another South East Gassser car at my shop in fast motion.

    Sorry y'all I just couldn't get time to post these until now. I'll get some better pics when we let it down and roll it out side. Like always it looks way better in person, Charlie is the master with his brush, and knows how to make it look like it would have been done in 1965 like the South East Gassers rules say it has to be. And he done all this in just a few hours. IMG_0521.jpg IMG_0523.jpg IMG_0524.jpg IMG_0525.jpg IMG_0526.jpg IMG_0527.jpg

    For some of the late comers this is what it looked like when David brought it to me just out of his junk yard. If you look close you can see the old lettering (Secret Weapon) on the door. IMG_7534.jpg

    Car looks great! Seems the SEG cars are pretty much show cars as well! Nice job on this one

    You're right there are a lot of really nice cars in our group. Our goal is to take the fan's into a time tunnel to 1967. For an example if someone builds a 1965 Ford Falcon it would still be a nice car because it would only be 2 years old. Believe it or not we don't want the barn finds unless it's an old enough car to have faded paint and rust. Like Gene Cromers car (Moonlighter) it's restored to the way it was in 1967.

    Quain the car looks great. My grandfather put me to work in his paint shop when I was 13 so I am one of those guys that really appreciated shiny paint while wandering the pits in the 60s. I remember admiring the old drag cars in the 60s and often studied the paint. Some admittedly may have been 20 footers but many had pretty killer paint. I think some of the paint schemes, and candies and lace and panel painting etc made me like the drag cars even moreso. Glad to see that you are keeping high standards with how good your cars look (it goes without saying they run the part too).

    The dash held in place to get a look. The stainless dash door and speaker cover will also go back in. The gauges will stick through the speaker cover. Mike and crew is working on the wiring now. WP_20150827_001.JPG

    The Inside is almost finished. Still have to install the filler panel around the clutch and brake pedals and a few more minor details. I just couldn't wait until it was finished to post this. The inside fits his restaurant theme to a tee. A lot of hours in that trans tunnel but it was worth it now. WP_20150904_001.JPG

    Hey, Quain;
    Iffen you get a moment, could you do a nice clear close-up pic of the 3 main gauges?
    I do like the Commander gauge set. It looks like they are rather modified - in a very nice way. Gauges in pic are too fuzzy to see well on my computer screen. Awhile back, I got from Ted Harbit, an nos 200mph speedo for a late Lark. I was amazed... :D . Neatest thing...
    TIA. Marcus...
