I am starting a Cars and Coffee Kansas City. Second sunday of the month. Old cars meet in the northland and caravan down to the Roasterie for coffee and bench racing. Families welcome!! We will be down at The Roasterie around 9:15 if you can't make it up to the northland for the drive down. We did a small run this past Sunday and it was a blast! Trying to get a few more people to show up. If you're down and want to meet up north PM me or just meet us down at the coffee shop! Hope to see you guys there!!

  6. I can make it if someone will tow me. I got a chain. LOL

I am still on two wheels only for a while. I like coffee but you probably don't want me in the caravan.

Benno, if you were closer to CA., I'd get Jerry Seinfeld and we'd kidnap you to coffee! :D
Man, that's some structure there! With a real Gooney Bird! Worth the trip.

Cool idea, good looking collection of cars. My ride is in progress. If you keep it up I'd like to join you all once I get it on the road.

Hey what's the story behind that DC 3?

  22. it's on my calendar. I hope to make it.

  23. The Roasterie logo and marketing harkens to the 1930s art deco period, so a vintage icon of the same era makes a nice focal point atop their business. Kansas City's greatest era in many ways was between the World Wars. As to the placement of the DC 3 above the business, guys with a crane and an iron worker's card.

9 o'clock today. If you're out and about in KC and want some coffee, stop by for a few.
