Technical Can you help me ID this Diff.....?????

    Sorry I don't have more photos...
    But lying on the ground this is the best I can do for now
    It is under my 39 Sedan..
    It is small Ford/Mopar bolt pattern
    Drain plug in the side of the 3rd Member
    Got Any Idea ????
    Any and All Help or Advice will be much appreciated

    Might be a 8 3/4 mopar. on the left side should have a 742, 741 , 489 or and large x cast into it.

    Agreed. The Mechanics U-joint ends match Shoebox Ford from '49 up to mid '50's.

    That tag should give you a date, ratio and part number.
