That is a fine looking sedan, it won't take much to make it fit your style better.

Looks like you got a nice car for a nice price, drive the wheels off of it and be "thank full".

As I said it was a long time ago when I did this work. Had to be well over 30 years back. The friend I did it for still owns it and has done a fantastic job finishing the car. Those are pictures from this year. Thanks

HRP 2 years ago my wife (Fedwoman) found a 32 3 window Street Rod and said we should go look at it. I ended up buying it for what I think was a very fair price. I posted here what I had done ( I felt ashamed) :p and confessed to everyone about my crime. Truth is it has been a lot of Fun to drive and enjoy, I would never build it that way but it is fun none the less. Bottom line, you have a neat Car many would cut there arm off at the elbow to have, drive it and enjoy it! I think that what you did for your friend was very cool! Good on you!

Looks like a nice car,Danny .All the things that make it street Roddy are pretty superficial. I would sure have fun with it.

It's a done car, drive the hell out of it, don't change a thing.

When it's all beat up, couple scratches, faded paint, some rust, it'll be a traditional 90's build with patina.

Seriously, don't take it apart, go have fun.

  13. I am curious how it drives compared to your other sedan? Looks to be a nice roadcar? Sorry about your friend. You did the right thing.

Cool ride - sounds like the deal made the day better for both of you. maybe make a video of it driving down the road with backround music of whatever is your friends favorite music that he could play when feeling a little down. for yourself might want to get a gold chain and lawn chair for use at streetrod shows - Ha!

An instrument cluster, steering column and door panels would go a long ways.......

Some Halibrand sprints and naugahyde black interior would set it off nice too.

Yea Larry, I don't quite get it either.
Funny thing is; a quick shot of primer and some red steelies and all of a suddenn it's not a
    (street) rod anymore.
    Go figger.

Rip all that leather out of there and replace it with some fruit salad fabric. I know you've got a few more rolls stashed somewhere in the garage.:D:):D;)

A very noble gesture to ***ist a friend in need. He's safe in the knowledge that the car will be cared for. He mightn't be able to drive but hopefully can be your wing man or co-pilot. You can't put a price on a friendship that has no boundaries.
