I snapped these pictures today while looking though a collection of parts in an old shop. I can't find any information on this quick change, does anyone recognize it, is it very rare, or valuable.
It has " safety equipment company claire michigan " cast on it

I think it says "Eau Claire, Michigan". Safety Racing made lots of items, most notably hubs and wheels. As far as I know, they never made a quick change center section. The one in the photo looks like a Halibrand, which makes sense as I believe that they sold 'their' rear end which was a Halibrand center with their own side plates. It looks like the lower shaft is broken off at the cross pin hole.
I would be interested in buying it if available.

    from Osseo Mi.

Safety racing made quite a few components for QCs and Ford truck floater rear ends. I have a set of their hubs for wide five ford wheels along with their two piece mag wheels. Came on a Quigley QC.

I can try and contact the person whos barn its in and see if they are willing to sell it.
I really don't know what the value would be, to make them an offer.

  7. The Quick Change looks like a Halibrand 301 Roadster.

This is mine with Halibrand V8 adapters for reference-

The adapters on the one in your photograph look like are for small axle tubes.
