Reminds me of a 1949 or so Nash with the Vauxhall grille.

 

changes the whole personality of the car

 

I HATE it, change just for "change sake" is never good.. IMO

restore it, to almost stock body, get it running dependably,
then start yer modifications, try doing it in increments, As you have fun driving it.
You may find you will just love it.

 

I'm not changing the grill for the sake of it, I'm changing it cause I hate the original one. Thanks to the great people on here and their photoshop skills I can see what it will look like first do I DONT rush into it!

I haven't been able to come up with anything to top what I have now... But only things Im considering is white walls and grey metallic center of the wheels and polished hoops. Maybe all gloss with a little less scallops. The paint job on here hides the ugly of the front end... haha. Have fun and look forward to seeing what you come up with.. Thanks!!!!

 

May need to look at the mid 50s buick grills or grafting a early 50s dodge coronet or wayfarer clip etc...
