Looks like you need to very carefully wash the engine and trans. See how many of those stickers you find.
Damn that is a nice truck shit I would hop it up a little bit and drive it. You dont find them that nice and complete!
The guy who sold me the wheels left a box on my porch today with these.... Debating if I should add accent paint or just slam them home. I'm thinking just slam them in and move on. Thoughts? I've got another V8 cap so they'll all match
Had the Sharp heads checked out, and he said that they were probably not worth the effort ($$) to repair for use. There are cracks at the center stud hole that he said may or may not be a problem, but there were several places that would need to be welded up and shaved back down. Oh well, I guess they go back to the owner who can put them back up on the kitchen wall...
On another note, I did get the truck out to a spot where I thought it would be fun to take some pictures. These were taken near our local feed mill. This building is called the "Trolley Barn".
Deal! I've only got one Ford script cap, and two V8 (debossed) caps. I've also got the three embossed caps.
I will trade you this one for the one Ford script one. Then you have a set of four. I have three but the other two are pretty mangled. I also have one 35 cap and one with the different V8 I actually boxed them up today! Finally found a box they fit in fairly well...
So I was working on the broken ignition switch and noticed that there was more than just the old '68 registration tag on the steering column. Found this hiding underneath... I only wish it showed the price he paid in 1934!
Having the original bill of sale is awesome, good find! Nice pics against the bricks too! It's good to see this truck out driving around town Jeff, keep at it. Johnny
Like Johnny said, having the bill of sale is awesome, your truck is a true time capsule. Mr. Osborn must have payed cash for the truck, that in itself was unusual during the depression.
Question: I think I'd like to swap out the lever shocks from tube shocks. I've found weld-on/bolt-on kits, but I'd rather do a bolt-on/bolt-on kit. Does anyone know if there is a bolt-on ONLY kit available for a '34 PU?
