Just spent a lot of time on my back putting in a new flex plate and starter. mini starter Powermaster. Well I have it all in the starter is quiet. However I have all the power for the car coming from the post on the starter that connects to the battery.

Well the post on the new starter is too short for the leads to go on. I was get to get a new lug and gang the 3 leaders to it. 1 lug may work. I need a smaller lug anyway. The other is get a terminal strip and connect the 3 leads to that with 1 lead to the post on the starter. Not sure what size wire to use. Any suggestions. 1st idea bad second better?

Hopefully this isn't too far off for this forum. It is on a T-Bucket!

    Thanks,

    Bill

  2. I'd make an offset bar with a longer stud/bolt. Bolt the bar to the starter stud & put the existing lugs on the new longer bolt

You an add a insulated lug at a different location close by. Run one eight gauge to it then the starter. All others wire goes to the new lug.
