Congratulations on your project and progress! It has been a blast tagging along and watching what you have done. You should be very proud.

Needed a seat. Even though a friend of mine had two originals he would let me have. They just were not going to workout. So a trip to the metal yard was in order. So a few sticks of one by half my trusty conduit bender and a couple of seat sliders I had in stock. This is what I came up with. It should work out perfectly. Having the ability to get behind the seat will be a wonderful improvement. I was trying to make a secret compartment underneath to hide my gun but I don't have room. I still need to make skirts for the side but that will come in the future

  3. Pretty cool man ! You could put a drop box on the lower seat frame/under cushion, and just have your cushion hinge forward/pop out ... if you wanted. A quick supported plywood cut out access ... with a finger hole, and you're done. Just a thought. I have a similar setup on an off topic vehicle. You would need to move your ass for access, but it's a quickie draw if standing with a door a jar.

  4. I'm making the bottom seat removable so I can access the master cylinder so I was going to sneak it in there. Not enough room on driver side. But I've got a couple of other ideas

I decided to do some real work instead. Finished up my seat. Not sure what to do with the finish. Might polish. Still needs the fasteners

Your work on this project as a whole enters you into an elite ( loosely kept in my head at least!) of hamb metal masters....! I am a55 year old slightly above the grade of hack metal man but I learn something new from you masters every time I surf the hamb.....thanks for sharing !

  9. By no means would I ever say I know what I'm doing. But if you collect enough tools you can do just about anything.

  10. If anyone wants to throw in a couple of extra votes for my tech week. I won't hold it against you

  12. Steampunk pipe bomb. It's a lost cause at this point. Honestly I think the manderal pipe cutter is the best one.

  20. Well the cab is easy. You just need to make the back. Then modify the rear fenders to fit a truck bed. Easy in the scheme of things. Or you could bring it to me with a large pile of money.

Haha...well may just have to sketch a few things out and get to cutting and shaping.

  26. Don't know what happened with that. Must be my large thumbs. So I will edit them and insert some random pictures of tools. I mean really who doesn't like tools

I vote you should polish the steelwork on your seat.....a bit like old diner seats....and I mean that in the best possible way
