    That is Cittroen 2cv based Pembleton three-wheeler, with BMW engine instead original Citroen 602 cc boxer...

    Dodge, I think that you must be right!

    Seeing sprocket and chain, I thought what strange variant of front-wheel drive could be there...

    But, such system of braking could be efficient: pulling-up one part of chain by cable - should activate coaster brake or as we called it "contra" on big, old single-speed bicycles... As I kid, I had similar idea for my soap-box kart (for rear wheels), but couldn't find two rear bicycle's wheels with such brakes...
    Necessity is mother of inventions? I suppose that it is one of many Hungarian DIY micro-cars from fifties...
