Bob,I may post a few cars that are probably not cyclecars...I just like the shapes of them and could be used as inspiration.

I totally agree! Google a rear view of the RAJO Jack Model T Ford from the 1920's, love the look of Bob Tails. Bob

You are on a roll today Bob! As much as I like the looks of a Type37 the little Brecsia sure is a nice looking race car for its day. bob

Copied from an article here (http://www.realclassic.co.uk/ridesfiles/rides03081800.html ) rides03081804.jpg

I guess my favourite though, was a car. Someone had taken three complete cylinders from an airhead BMW and put them on a home-made crankcase to make a three-cylnder radial engine. He married it to a 2CV gearbox and Formula One suspension to make a very tidy three-wheeler. I couldn't find the owner to ask, but for the technicisti I believe he used a single throw crankshaft with the cylinders firing sequentially. I think this because it sounded like a Trident when it was running. Nice job.

    Nobo,

My HPV-qaudricycle is made in a style of old motorised quadricycles from the end of XIX century and for sure that it would be the best with noisy, smelly, vibrating and powerful gasoline engine (around 3-4 HP?)...

But, that would be hardly acceptable here in Swiss, or at least should need attest and registration as light quadricycle! Therefore, for the start – maybe some electric-power that would let it stay unregistered, as electric-assisted bicycle! Later, who knows – recreation as one grandpa of cycle-cars...

    Zoran
P.S.: Attached is photo of ancient quadricycle made by young Ettore Bugatti in 1899!

I did, electric is cool in it's own way. But these minimal cars need exposed rocker arms or pushrods and SMOKE and they have to clatter.
