  1. Paint, interior and wiring are all being re-done. Maybe headlight placement also.

  4. For a very short time, (37-38?) the big three contracted with body manufacturers to build cab overs that were sold through the dealers. Ford used Dearborn, Dodge and Chevrolet used Montpellier. Montpellier used two different styles, one of their own design that was used on both Dodge and Chevrolet and also a style for each that mimicked the manufacturers conventional cabs. the one in post #5854 is the second style. The GM version in Oz was badged as an Oldsmobile.

Guys, THIS SOCIAL GROUP does not have the same rules as the main HAMB board. It was created just FOR all of the COE stuff not allowed there. All of the builds and content in this group are safe....so post away!
    Somebody tell Steve.........

My initial comment was about the loss of the picture thread on the HAMB, not here. Sorry for the confusion.

No sweat, guys...glad we could make it work. Hope you'll find the social group to be a place where you can "let loose". That was a big part of the reason for the creation of the social groups and the migration of your area of interest over here...Again, purely editorial, never personal. Thanks for understanding!

That's my fault; I didn't realize that the social group's settings were set to 'private' when I started moving stuff here. I tried to contact the group's creator, but he hasn't been around in the last 3 months, so I altered the settings to allow anyone to view/post. My apologies.

Yeah, Blue, I just logged on this morning and saw you were there. Don't have a lot of internet access in the teardrop. Funny, I thought I saw every car on the grounds, but never saw your truck. Would have been nice to catch up first hand. Ran into Dagato and Daddio211 on the weekend. Cool to put faces to the names

Man had a heck of a time finding Cabovers on the forum. I think we are splitting hairs on this decision.
But here's an update on the Coe electric utility I found then lost.
Here it was moved to a honey hole nearby and inside an adjacent building just full of cab overs and other trucks and cars.
What a treat to be given a tour of the building yesterday. The electric utility runs with a new flathead in it.
