ok, working on old cars for the last 40 years i have seen lots of crazy stuff. i played goalie on a mens league ice/roller team and think i can expect, the unexpected. i also performed on stage [off broadway] in front of a live audience in a few plays, so i had to be ready for variances in line cues/scenery problems/ wardrobe malfunctions/ lighting/ sound cues etc.....
that said this was towed in with a no start problem, '53 chevy pu. DSCF4658.JPG

That's a helluva toy box! Guess the owner is hiding his trinkets from his wife! She'll never look in there! Joe

i think the air cleaner was so heavy it distorted the adapter it has.

there is a lot of work involved in doing that, screws, glue, aluminum strips all wired with lights.

Looks like it has good bones, just needs the gingerbread stripped off. My guess is that you might get a lot of money for that **** , maybe on flea-bay. It will be a nice ride once it goes thru its 'cleansing'

I'm thinking it belonged to one of Santa's helpers that got canned after they took inventory for stocking stuffers, then a J C Whitney follower bought it ......... Bet there's a nice old truck under all that stuff somewhere......... ;) Flux

Yet another reason not to sell your ride locally. On the other hand I'd love to buy it & take all the China Mart stuff off , it'd make me feel like it got done some justice. I've never want offend others because of they're personalizing touches but prefer a more Spartan approach. The shock "attention" factor may be the reasoning behind the models? Years ago I coined a phrase to describe an over done rig at a local cruise in ... I told my pal it was a little to J C Whitney for me..... & no further explanation was necessary. As my motto goes " everybody's normal until you get to know them"....betting there's still a cool old truck under there somewhere. Flux
