yup, definitely smaller than Pontiac. I have a bunch of books with photos of big trucks from that era, I will look at some pics, and see if I can spot something like that on the roof of a truck. That's my hunch.
Considering how many cars I already have, maybe you should take a run at it.;):D
Oh, and for those that don't know, the story is that the girl in the photos was actually his sister.

Brad I like George have too many projects going and not enough garage room for the ones I have. I have one roadster and that's all one guy needs.
That roadster though is right on and anyone contemplating building a '26/'27 Ford roadster could a lot worse than copping that one. I know it is pretty far out but that is the appeal.

George---You know Bruce Geisler and I are great friends. If you came down and collected your T panels, we could race around and see his Garage/Museum. He lives about 5 minutes away.....;)

Thanks for keeping the tread alive fellas.

Once again the Canadian Hotrod History page over on Facebook comes through with some great images. A fella by the name of Kevin Bush shared these, thanks Kevin!

It'll be early next year before that can happen. I was figuring on when I go to Portland.

The top one is another shot from San Cobble/Van Isle. That car was in Car Craft and PHR. The bottom one was at Ocean Park a couple years ago, in the building. I think it belongs to Ron Ford now?

I like its stance. The length is about right, and it sits low and pretty level, which is important if you don't want to lay back the windshield. Heres my favorite T bucket, I know I have posted this photo a bunch, but its a good one, IMO.

  17. The bottom T was built by Gary Lang in the late 60's, sold to Don Haber of Aldergrove in the early 70's and recently resurrected by Don who is still the present owner.

Thanks for the clarification, I wasn't at all sure about what I was posting on the bottom car.

Wow George and verde I like both of those buckets. Perfect examples of '60s Ts. I would guess at the wheelbase of the blue one is mid 90s. Mine is '96. I would guess the other one is a few inches longer. Just a guess on both but I've been looking at Buckets all my life. George you could do a lot worse than taking inspiration from both or either of them.

I think I have already decided on 96" as the "magic" number. And as I think you already know, the second one is my inspiration. I guess since this IS a T thread, maybe I should post a pic of Dick Thompsons touting as well.

This is 96" more rake than you like but still 96". If you don't want to lean back the windshield you'll have to make the body almost flat like an original T the way Henry built it. I like this wheelbase too however the body is mounted. Any shorter you have Tweetie Pie. Any longer you have the Ivo T. Both iconic on their own.

  25. A friend of mine found these pics taken of His project in '41
When he left for the war, Herb stored the motor in his Pop's shop till he came back.
Lost track of the car and motor after all these years.

  27. I wish that I could take credit for something in these shots but the truth is, the film was exposed many years before I was............J

  28. Been putting some shakedown miles on my RPU since I got it going about four weeks ago. With a high compression 301 SBC and power-glide its rather quick. This shot was at its first show under its own power, I'm warming it up to leave. JW
