    Pretty basic one here.
I have recently got my hands on a 1950 chev hardtop. Has no handbrake. don't have a spare. thinking either a Lokar setup or tracking down original under dash setup.
I don't have any cables as yet but easy enough to have made up.
    Whats everyones thoughts??

  6. Rod an custom did a long build several, years back on a 53. They mounted anA Body GM unit on the kick panel. I copied that on a 54 and it worked great. Was cheap and not difficult.

The original setup won't fit, the engine is in the way.

  8. FB/EK Holden have a neat under-dash unit which could be mounted to your Chev.
Cable goes through a hole in the firewall, around a pulley and down.

    Bingo.

That's exactly why I asked about what engine.

Aftermarket, or other car is about it.
