easier than drivers side window - Ha! pretty basic but, have no visual to help show you. post a pic of your door.
First thing I would do is buy a copy of the "green bible " . Then I'd pay close attention as I took it apart, following the instructions in the book , and then I'd put it back together on reverse order . Glad to be of help , lol !
Seriously, it's not that difficult, these cars are pretty simple. I was serious about buying the green bible ( I believe Shoebox-central has it). It's a great resource . Off the top of my head, pull the garnish molding off the inside, then the door panel. The regulator is only held on by a few screws , undo them . From there you should be able to get the regulator of the lower glass track, then list the glass up out the top . May have to loosen up the vent window to get the glass to tip in , I can't remember . It's only held on by a few screws as well . Reverse to install.
to see a schematic of a shoebox door , not exact same year as yours, but gives you a good idea on how things go together/come apart search online - www. shoeboxford.com/public/department43.cfm - then search - macsautoparts.com - search there for window crank clip to see what holds handle to crank, next for inside door handle and window crank c-clip removal tool. can look for handle, etc to help see how parts look.
I believe the 51's use a hairpin type clip to hold the handles on. Push in on the spring loaded bezel and you should be able to get to the clip. My 49 has a pin arrangement.
First roll the window all the way down you will notice the rollers in the window track and see a clip like the ones below in them put your thumb and fore finger and hold it together and pull out the clip that frees the track from the regulator and then you can tilt the track and pull it out,you will find the same style clip on the handles this hook tool is good for removing them. http://www.harborfreight.com/4-piece-pick-and-hook-set-66836.html
You might want to replace these:http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fit-Ford-Th...ash=item2ecde4ce11:g:s-MAAOSw9NxTup-I&vxp=mtr And lube the tracks with new white grease.
Pull the regulators out, using a liberal amount of JB Blaster on every moving part! When they're out, they're easy to clean and de-rust...really only 'strap steel'... JeffB2 has found the best upgrade you can do, use it! When you get it all apart, steel wool and sandpaper will aid you...(don't forget to paint the bare metal!)
