  2. Thank you Dave,as cool as it is to get some recognition from a on line magazine it's much more gratifying hearing the accolades from our friends.

Brenda and I wanted to keep the car simple yet understated,I think we succeed.

Congradulations HRP & ladyhrp on an elevated representation of your ride. Nicely done work on the car by yourselves and the thread about it. It shows very well...Big thumbs up!

  16. In retrospect, the Hamb is primarily responsible for my 9 year long build on this wagon.

When I joined I had a nice 32 fordor with a flatty and a 32 hiboy roadster but like everyone that has been a member of the Hamb for any length of time I saw so many of what I considered rough cars being brought back to life I knew I needed a project.

As luck would have it I didn't have to look far as the wagon had languished away in the barn for many years.

My intent was just to get it running again and patch it up enough to be a safe driver,we all know that one thing leads to another and the road to Hell is paved with good intentions.

The more I did the more I had to do and these things never come cheap,I sold my '67 Chevelle,my 66 mint condition bug and then my sweet 64 Falcon to help pay for parts.

The wagon was a labor of love and sometimes I hated it but in the end it all paid off.

The car came out better than I could ever dreamed, the questions were always answered when I ask and the information I got was always on the money but the positive comments was what helped more than you guys will every know and they seemed to come when I was ready to through up my hands. Since Danny worked so hard he does have his own set of keys.

Danny used a hammer on the glass cabinet a long time ago.
