There was a street driven roadster in Car Craft around 1970 that I remember as well. But it seems like as my purchasing power grew incrementally, the price of used up T-70s grew by squares, and the gap just got bigger and bigger...:( cripes, now I'd be lucky to afford just the webers and a Hewland...

1400lbs, more lateral grip than my half-assed driving skills would ever exploit, and a tunnel ram sb. I just came in my pants a little...

Remote water necks are easy enough to get.

Cripes parkey, how'd I miss those shock towers,I've often wondered how that car was built.
I studied that underhood photo too, missed what it actually is.
Sure would like to see some constructors photos, anything, but bein's it isn't (quite) HAMBY, maybe not focus too much on the body, wink, wink. I have seen a couple of track action photos of Beechys' car, nothing else though.
Love them little Chevy 2's. Wish I could submit shots of mine.
    Preciate it.

This is a very old thread but check for a cast-in number on the left rear of the manifold. just below the #7 intake runner. It will start with a 0- or a 00- which is code for GM experimental parts.
The Grand sport version uses an adapter/spacer. Your photo shows what was used on USRRC and CanAM small blocks in both fuel injected and Weber 58mm carb versions. I've seen them on Lola's and Yenco Cheeta's.
