Even tho I genrally dont cruise over there much, their is a ton of cool stuff to see that dont get much if any attention here, also Im genrally not too crazy about 4 door sedans that are cut down like this but this 31 stude project just looks rite, I just like it and thought it deserved some attention, not to promote the sale of it, I dont even know the guy but just wanted to say I like it.....so far anyway.

.....needs some wheels maybe something like this or slots on back with maybe a little smaller street tire with the top of tire just below fender lip and a rake with skinnies on the front.
...dont care for the looks of that cut out in the wheel well tho, possibly for axle clearance.

Saw this last week. Always liked the shortened 4 doors like that. Nice size vehicle for a bigger guy like me. Too bad it's in Cali and I'm in NY.

The curve of the front post is a big part of why this looks so good...along with the longer than normal (on a Ford) quarter panel/window section. I like it. Has huge potential.

That has a lot of potential to be a really nice hot rod. The hardest part for me would be choosing between a bright candy paint job and a subtle understated color. Engine would be easy as there's a Desoto Hemi in the shed that needs a suitable

With the extended front axle the wheelbase won't look so bad.. Would like to see it when it's finished...

I don't typically like shortened sedans proportions but that is workable and better than most.

I like it! ( even if it is from " the edge")

  15. It takes a little work to get them right. it seems that some sedans lend themselves better to it than others and most need at least a mild chop to not look too boxy.

I like American Bantams though so I may be a little more forgiving on a shortened sedan. LOL

I saw this and thought....old 5 spokes, pie crust slicks, has to have at least 3 carbs, and this thing could be down right nasty...I'm thinking a dark blue, Stone Woods and Cook blue, or black for the color....

I looked and thought, "Here's a kinda 'Vicky look' with a sedan back..." Interesting.
Most 'interesting' was the use of the rear doors, 'getting around the rear tires' when opened. Original hinges, and careful alignment with 'A' pillars made for a unique fit.

Typical problem with a shortened sedan is the placement of the tank.
Back seat area looks to be it, as the deep channeling nixes the 2 long, flat tanks that could go between the ****** and side rails...

  18. LOL outboard motor tank on the p*** seat. :D

  22. I'm looking, kind of crazy though, they're just 3 and 5 yrs old. I asked my daughter, what if they don't like hot rods, she said "I can't believe they wouldn't", lets hope so, sure does keep me busy though, that's good.

Get it on the photoshop thread - and consider this another vote for the blue streaks and 5 spokes (yes 5 spokes up front too)

Actually liked everything you mentioned especially the pie crusts but a brandywine red or the gloss black would probably do it more for me. (The blue thing means cool:D)
