I was listening to the narrative when he addressed the yellow roadster. I think he called it a Model A, as I watched a little later (last race) it appeared to me to be a 26/27 T roadster. If I'm right, I believe he missed on that one, which I thought was odd coming from an experienced car guru!

A lot of times these shows are all drama and no substance. Hell, these guys were bouncing and digging all the way! I've seen the pics that Hambers posted and it was a kick to see it live. My wife even thought it was cool. Thanks for the headsup, 3WLarry !

I am going to have to keep my eyes out for the rerun! Discovery networks runs all their programming multiple times. A lot of times they run the previous weeks episode of a program right before the new episode. I like Chasing Cl***ic Cars better than all the other car "Reality" shows out there. Thanks 3W for the heads up.

If you haven't Been to TROG. Get your *** there and get there on the Thursday before. IT is unreal!!! ii missed it until this last year and will never miss another one. Its as close to going back in time and seeing guys race as you will ever get. Everyone is super cool and the cars are awesome. Eating a slice of pizza and looking over to see Brian B*** coming down the street in his sick red 32 roadster and only to be followed a few min later by a crazy twin T engine racer driven down the main drag to the beach. Freaking awesome. Roadsters and coupes on the sand all day goin at it. Killer old bikes with guys holding on for dear life in the sand. words can not express. be there or you will regret it. Currently standing by for dates to reserve my room for next year, while putting my own attempt at a racer together to run on the sand. the Oiler's do this thing up right!!!

Did you notice that the bulk of the "old school hot rods" seemed to spin both tires in the sand? Did they have a Posi in the old banjo rear end or locked or welded spider gears? image.jpg

From what I have seen on the show his dad is the Model A guru, Wayne is more into the exotics. I DVR'd the show but haven't seen it yet but will this weekend.

Yup I heard the same thing and chuckled. I'm sure the writers screwed that one up. Wayne should know better.

DRIVEWAY BUILDER... Ain't it fun as hell when you see yourself on tv? I was on the Big10 Network once (It's a college sports channel) and laughed my *** off. My daughter works for a major college football team and I always see her on the sidelines on tv. My wife and I get a kick out of it.
